شريحة eSIM لكندا

Often, yes. All Verizon Unlimited plans include talk, text and data in Canada, most T-Mobile plans include Canada with 5 to 30 GB of high-speed data before slowing to 128 or 256 kbps, and AT&T's eligible unlimited plans let you use your plan's data there, though AT&T says roaming may run at 2G speeds. On other Verizon plans, TravelPass costs 6 dollars a day. If your plan covers Canada and its speed suits your trip, you don't need a travel eSIM; one helps if you're on prepaid, your plan leaves Canada out, or you run through the fast data.

Not with the Canada plan: it works in Canada only. If your trip crosses the border, for example Vancouver and Seattle or a drive to Alaska, pick the North America plan, which covers Canada, the US and Mexico on one eSIM. Check every country on your route is on its list before you buy, and keep the line switched off until you land, so the days don't start on a stop-over.

Not on the Parkway itself. Parks Canada says there is no year-round cell coverage on the Icefields Parkway, with limited coverage only at the Columbia Icefield from May to early October, and none of the 230 km between Lake Louise and Jasper has services in winter. In Banff National Park, Parks Canada calls coverage limited, with some phones working at some roadside spots. Download offline maps before you leave Lake Louise or Jasper, fill the tank and tell someone your plans.

It can be if you want a Canadian number. Bell's prepaid brand Lucky Mobile sells a tourist eSIM online with 30-day plans, such as 25 GB with calls and texts for 35 Canadian dollars; you need an eSIM phone and a credit card, and you choose the province you're landing in. A travel eSIM installed at home has no number, but it's online the moment you land, and your usual number stays in the phone for bank texts.

No. Dial 911 for police, fire or ambulance from your home line, because a data-only eSIM can't make that call. Keep your home line switched on for calls and texts while the kimsim line does the data.
